On this website you will not only find a project for Media Arts but something that I've turned into a true pet project and will remember for a very long time to come. The bookmarks, t-shirts and posters that are displayed on this website both show how much I truly enjoy the shows and movies I watch but also showcase a true, unimaginable sense of creativity. Which is why I will tell you right now that the one way to enhance your own work, life and way you look at the world on the daily basis is to add a little creativity.
"The world is but a canvas for the imagination." ~Henry David Thoreau
What Creativity Means to Me...
Creativity cre·a·tiv·i·ty [kree-ey-tiv-i-tee] noun 1. the state or quality of being creative. 2. the ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules, patterns, relationships, or the like, and to create meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretations, etc.; originality, progressiveness, or imagination: the need for creativity in modern industry; creativity in the performing arts. 3. the process by which one utilizes creative ability: Extensive reading stimulated his creativity.
Creativity as defined is the ability to take something out in the world and morph or transcend the idea into your own thing. In my opinion all you need to be creative is a plan, one that allows you to show the world what you're truly thinking and what's actually on your mind. You have an idea stored inside your head but a slight bit of creativity can help to allow others to view that idea as well and that can be very simple. Something as small as a text to a good friend can be translated into a spark of madness, a flash of something creative that we all need to embrace once and a while. Life is crazy so why not do something that sets you apart, something that can be only described as wonderful.
"You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it." ~Robin Williams
